Hey guys, since the icon requests seem to have died down a bit (I have 20/30 spaces left), I'm going to try something new.

I'm now accepting requests for specific icon requests or Interest Icons. Which, as I understand the process, is basically where you comment saying you want icons, and I hunt through the interests listed on your profile and find a few fandoms to play with (Icon-making friends, correct me if I'm wrong!).

The real upside to this is it means you don't need to hunt down screencaps or promo pics, and I still get to explore different fandoms and characters and do something nice for all the lovely people watching my journal and keeping me going in this.

You can request interest icons (or specific icons for that matter) by replying to this post or this post. Doesn't matter which!

The Basic Rules: Give me images, and I will make icons. Two or more images per person would be great, and I'll make between 2-5 icons from those. You can rank images, also, if you have a ton. If you have requests from a fandom I'm familiar with, or say a quote or particular celebrity, I should be able to make icons without caps. But images (and high-quality images) are always better.

oh man. there are SO many fandoms in this post. i cannot list them all. literally; because i didn't recognize some of the fandoms people gave me in their request icon images, heh, but most mostly because there are just so many. so i'm using my usual icon table to post these, but there's a little key i added at the bottom saying who requested what.

thanks everyone who gave me icon requests, i may have gone overboard, but only because i got some very lovely images. all request icons in this post are sharable, too! ; )

...which isn't to say that i don't have other favorite celebrities, but my amazing f-list (and others who posted suggestions!) managed to pick some very cool celebrities for me to icon- neil patrick harris, audrey hepburn, jennifer garner, nathan fillion... you get the idea. so there are a small ton of random celebrity icons, then a few from doctor who 2x02 ("tooth and claw") and a bunch from 4x02 ("fires of pompeii"). plus i threw in some ridiculous season 1 buffy (from 1x03 ("witch")) icons, just for kicks.
ooh, and a firefly wallpaper, a firefly banner, and a jennifer garner banner. becuase i have an addiction to making graphics. ; )

icon post coming in a few minutes, but i have been thinking about creating some celebrity-based icons for a future post, using images from photoshoots rather than screencaps. while i could pick actors and actresses myself, it's much more fun to ask who your favorites are, and go from there. ; )

hello all- icons are coming*, i promise. that said, i was looking over my previous work and realized i haven't made a whole lot of quote icons- and this must be remedied. ; )

so here's the challenge- i'd love to hear about your favorite musical theatre/musical movie (er, yes, this can include dr. horrible) lyrics, or even your favorite songs. and i'll try to turn some of them into icons. 

so...

firstly i'd like to apologise to those on my f-list who submitted caps for my first round of interest icons/icon requests*, as it took me far longer to create the final icons than i expected. but here they are, and hopefully they were worth the wait! secondly you'll notice this post is a lot more than just interest icons; while i was working on those i also iconed veronica mars episode 2x16 "the rapes of graff," and the kiera knightely pride and prejudice film. so i'm posting those here as well.
